Learning & Development Manager - Cumbria, On site - 6 Month Contract

ARM are representing one of their most esteemed infrastructure clients in the construction sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager looking to take an interim position on an initial 6-month basis, with scope for extension. To be successful in this role, you will ideally be ILM qualified (Coaching for High Performance), and be eligible for Baseline Personnel Security Screening.

Responsibilities

• Establish excellent relationships with functional management to gain a strong understanding of project issues and opportunities.
• Promote a positive behaviour safety culture through proactive engagement, coaching, and mentoring of supervisors and line managers.
• Assess and monitor the effectiveness and successes of training programmes.
• Drive continuous professional development (CDP) within the supervisory teams
• Manage and coordinate the Supervisor Development Pathway to ensure all training is up to date

Requirements

• Previous demonstrable experience in a Learning and Development management role, in a complex, matrix style organisation
• Excellent stakeholder and people skills, with the ability to establish and build upon relationships in all areas of the business
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at different levels of completion
