ARM are working with a leading rail company, who are looking for a Lead Project Manager to join them in their Cork office to work on Signalling Renewal projects. This is a fully on-site role, reporting to the Project Director and requiring recent Rail / Signalling experience.
About You:
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a background in rail/signalling. Specifically, this will include:
- Experience in leading signalling renewal, relock and recontrol projects
- Experience Managing large multi-disciplinary teams
- A Project Management qualification, or membership to a relevant professional body such as APM, Prince2 etc.
- Current PTS, Safe Pass Certification, and understanding of The Railway Safety Act 2005
What you will be doing:
- Overall project responsibility of multi-discipline Signalling projects from preparation of Project Execution Plan to Project close out.
- Undertake the role of Project Bids Manager when required.
- Preparation of the project Cost Performance Review and Contract Monthly End Sales documents.
- Preparation of the Project Risk Management database.
- Delivery of the project in compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Plans.
- Assume the Project Director role during nominated periods as required.
- To refer to shift and weekend working arrangements, where applicable.
This is a full-time role on an initial 6-month contract Outside IR35, based on site in Cork 5 days per week.
For this role, you must already be eligible to work in the UK without restriction.
