About the Role:
The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Lead Commissioning Engineer - Mechanical to join a Leading Nuclear Civil Business
Main Purpose:
The Lead Commissioning Engineer is responsible for overseeing all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning for the Box Encapsulation Plant project. They must ensure the highest level of safety on the project and lead a team of Commissioning Engineers and Technicians.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure safety is the highest priority on the project and strive towards Zero Harm
- Lead all testing activities throughout the commissioning stages.
- Supervise production of commissioning test documentation
- Supervise and organize Commissioning Technicians and support resources.
- Liaise with regulatory compliance representatives to witness commissioning activities.
- Record and manage Temporary Commissioning Aids
- Utilize completions management systems for managing activities and handovers.
- Schedule work and manage against the project schedule.
- Participate in multi-discipline design reviews and work with engineering teams.
- Drive continuous improvement within the commissioning process.
- Drive progress to meet schedule deadlines.
What You Need to Succeed
- Time served or equivalent in an engineering discipline, preferably in a mechanical discipline.
- Preference for HNC or equivalent qualification
- Project commissioning experience
- Experience with process commissioning, vessels, and pumps.
- Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
- Familiarity with Go Completions and Microsoft suite
