The Energy Division at ARM is recruiting an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Nuclear Civil Engineering client, based out of Warrington.

This job involves overseeing the Box Encapsulation Plant project, which is a crucial construction project at the Sellafield Site. The project is focused on decommissioning and involves encasing nuclear waste in concrete and storing it in a modern building. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe design and delivery of the plant, in accordance with requirements and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

Some of your duties will include:

• Producing and checking structural engineering calculations, technical reports, designer risk assessments, and outline installation method statements

• Supervise production of drawings and check to ensure the design intent has been met

• Analysis and Design using engineering software such as STAAD

• Regular interfacing with the CS&A design team and broader project management team

What do you need to succeed?

• Degree Qualified (BEng or MEng), Civil / Structural Engineer
