An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with one of our largest UK Defence companies!

Responsibilities -
Capturing the as-is business applications for an area of the business e.g., Human Resources, Engineering and work with business leads to shape, guide and facilitate the development of future requirements
Defining target architecture and roadmaps for the business area ensuring it is in line with the strategy and standards
Collaborating early on in the life cycle to use subject matter expertise to direct and influence decisions relating to future services
Facilitating the transition of well specified, high-level requirements into the Shared Services delivery team
Liaising with the Shared Services project and service teams to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and communicate and maintain the roadmap to reflect changes happening within the project and service areas
Working with other domain architects to ensure the business area architecture fits within the companies overarching architecture
Providing input to the development of architecture common artefacts, methodologies, and processes, e.g., capability models, governance process

Your skills and experiences -
Proven experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans and roadmaps
Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis
Proven experience in design and development of Information Systems
Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Proven technical leadership, e.g. Technical Authority
Excellent stakeholder management skills including the ability to communicate with both senior business leaders and technical SMEs
