PermanentARM's client is hiring for a role as a Key Account Manager within a large power solutions company. The company specialises in developing the most efficient clean energy systems making our planets future more sustainable! The job is located in the industrial estate nearby to Birmingham airport.
The key elements of the role
About you...
* Exceptional technical sales and/or account management track record within a relevant industry sector.
* An ability to engage with your clients to fully understand their challenges and requirements and the drivers behind these.
* An ability to integrate effectively at every level within your customers, managing multiple internal customer relationships while focusing on the company's growth strategy.
* An understanding of the way vehicle manufacturers engineer their products and the ability to understand the entry points for the company.
* An ability to coordinate the proposal process for each customer from a range of potential solutions.
* A fundamental engineering understanding and knowledge of EV systems or willingness to learn this as you immerse yourself in the EV sector.
* An ability to take complex issues and problems and articulate them simply and in an engaging, succinct, jargon-free way.
* Drive and tenacity to ensure proposals are delivered on time, project managing the sales process and the team involved in the bid preparation.
* Huge energy, enthusiasm, and a drive to deliver, with a positive can-do attitude and ability to think differently.
* An ability to be a great team player and to work closely with colleagues across different locations.
Your key responsibilities:
* Pricing and negotiation of engineering programmes and components
* Bringing new technologies to market from a tier 1 supplier or OEM perspective
* Stake holder management of commercial relationships
* Sales process and strategic planning
* Project management of the sales process
