Junior Finance Business Partner - Portishead, Bristol - Permanent - £36,000

ARM are delighted to be working with a community based social housing provider operating in the West of England.

The right candidate will be an integral part of the Finance Business Partnering function in providing reliable and timely financial information to the business.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare all Management Accounting journals for your areas of the Group
* Prepare narrative for material variances for inclusion in the monthly reporting pack
* Complete designated balance sheet reconciliations as schedules
* Assist in the day-to-day capture of relevant information for quarterly reforecasting
* Work with FBPs to create input templates for annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting
* Attend and actively participate in all budgeting and reforecasting meetings with budget holders
* Work with Finance Business Partners, agreeing priority of work with the Head of Management Reporting and Analysis
* Support the completion of all audit recommendations relevant to business area

Requirements:
* Good level of literacy and numeracy
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* AAT Qualified/in the final stages of qualification
* Good accounting aptitude
* Knowledge of financial and management accounts preparation
* Experience of computerised financial systems and very proficient user of spreadsheets
* Experience of budgetary management and control
* Understanding of the concepts of risk management and Value for Money
* Ability to conduct variance analysis
* Ability to analyse accounting data
