Core skills must include

• Minimum of five years/relevant or equivalent of hands-on infrastructure architecture/design and implementation experience
• Strong Windows Server 2008/R2, 2012/R2, 2016, 2019 server background on both physical and virtual (VMware/Hyper V) infrastructure
• Active Directory / Group Policy
• Experience with networking technologies, firewalls, switches, routers / VLan's / DNS / DHCP
• Firewalls (Checkpoint an advantage)
• Load Balancing (Citrix NetScaler an advantage)
• VPN / VPN profiles
• MS-Azure (General)
• Azure AD Proxy
• Azure IaaS / PaaS components
• Azure Storage / Networking
• Hyper-V (2016 / 2019)
• Office 365 / Conditional Access / Azure Active Directory / Azure MFA
• Ability to take a flexible approach to design with limited defined as is architecture and NFR's
• Ability to ensure architecture designs follow internal standards
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
• Excellent communications skills, including the ability to present information
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Excellent understanding of Agile delivery frameworks

• Previous exposure / knowledge working within the UK based utilities sector
