HR Generalist in Farnborough, Hampshire

HR Generalist - Farnborough - 12 Month Contract - £308 per day - (Umbrella) (Inside)

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a luxury automotive client who is actively seeking an HR Generalist to join them on an initial 12-month contract.

The role of the candidate is to contribute to all HR Planning, Steering and reward topics relevant to the Ireland market, the chosen candidate will be based in Farnborough with travel to Ireland once a month.

Responsibilities:
* Management and co-ordination of high profile Reward projects, including market benchmarking, and the creation and roll-out of new tools and Reward solutions in line with the new landscape.
* Support current payroll processes with expert/market-specific knowledge. Research, make proposals for and run projects to transition to a new payroll solution with an outsourced provider
* Create new policies / provide updates to existing policies to support newly implemented legislation and/or internal principles
* Advise on, create and update HR policies in line with employment legislation and maintain compliance in the relevant territory and business requirements
* Support the HR Business Partner team on some operational HR activities and less complex employee relations cases
* Advise on, create and update HR policies in line with employment legislation and maintain compliance in the relevant territory and business requirements

Requirements:
* Higher Education/Degree or related qualifications as required.
* Certified member a professional institution (e.g. CIPD), or equivalent, preferably in a Business / HR-related field. CIPD qualification desirable
* Excellent knowledge of the Ireland market in employment legislation, employee relations, HR policies, processes and reward topics; ideally within automotive and/or financial services sectors.
* Specialist experience and knowledge of compensation and benefits topics, including remuneration benchmarking methodologies.
* Experience of working cross-functionally and internationally in a multinational company
