HR Business Partner - Guildford - Part time - £55,000 (Pro rate) DOE

We are recruiting for an HR Business partner to join them on a part time basis in Guildford, Surrey.

The HR Business Partner will be an integral part of the business with a job scope that covers all facets of the human resources function from HR strategy to Recruitment activities.

Responsibilities:

* Taking a proactive approach to identifying employee related issues such as performance management.
* Guide and support managers dealing with short and long-term absence.
* Coach managers through investigation, disciplinary, capability, conduct, performance management and grievance processes. Facilitate meetings to ensure consistency and fairness.
* Support the Recruitment process: from discussing the vacancy with the Resource Manager, ensuring comparable salaries and grades are offered and providing challenge to recruitment decisions as appropriate.
* Work with Managers on the implementation of their employer brand and EVP
* Coach and support managers with the development and implementation of talent management and succession planning strategies.

Requirements:

* Chartered MCIPD (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar HR role.
* Experienced and confident in managing complex ER cases from end to end
* Demonstrable leadership skills qualities in business acumen, commercial awareness, emotional intelligence, and influencing at a senior level
* Experience of supporting talent management, succession planning and reward management programmes, challenging senior stakeholders where appropriate
* End to end in house recruitment including advertising, interviewing, shortlisting, offer management through to on-boarding.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build effective, collaborative relationships with HR and other colleagues across the business.
* Sound knowledge and practical application of current UK employment law, procedures and processes.
