Management Accountant in Portadown, County Armagh

Management Accountant - Portadown - Permanent - Up to £40,000 p/a (DOE)

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a Leading Construction company who are actively seeking a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

The role will be responsible for the timely production and completion of monthly management accounts for various divisions within the company, reporting to the Finance Director

Responsibilities:
* Production of monthly management accounts
* Assist with year-end audit and liaison to help with smooth year-end close
* Generating and processing of general ledger journals for various divisions
* Maintaining an organised documentation system for the accounting system
* Assisting finance colleagues with subcontractors, sales, contract sales, payroll, stock management, purchase ledgers and payroll as and when required to meet deadlines
* Internal audit and internal controls

Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Experienced with MS Office (Advanced Excel Skills)
* Highly commercial with accuracy and strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage time/workload effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Previous experience in the construction industry would be desirable
