Highways Engineer in Hertford, Hertfordshire

HIGHWAYS ENGINEER - 6-MONTH CONTRACT - HERTFORD BASED - £32 PER HOUR INSIDE IR35.

ARM is currently working with a major highways construction consultancy, and are seeking a highways engineer to join their team based in Hertford on a 6-month contract.

To be considered for this role you will need to be educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline. You will have also needed professional experience working in highway engineering. Finally, you will need to be proficient in AutoCAD.

What will you be doing?

You will be designing and delivering local authority highway improvements. This will include cycling, bus priority, pedestrian, and safety schemes. You will also be assisting the senior engineers to ensure that projects and programs are delivered on time and with the right quality.

The site for this role is in Hertford and you will have to be able to visit the site when required.

The highways engineer is paying £32 per hour and is on a 6-month contract with a potential extension.
