Interim Head Of Strategic Procurement - Portsmouth - 3 Months - £700 - £850 (inside) p/d

ARM have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Head Of Strategic Procurement to join a household digital brand on an initial 3 month basis.

The role is working closely with every Director and member of the leadership team, to gain a deep understanding of how the strategic procurement team can help set them up for success.

Responsibilities:

* Working closely with internal business owners to lead the acquisition and renewal of circa 360 external partners and suppliers
* A challenger mentality and always looking for opportunities to do things differently, aggregating / disaggregating suppliers and leveraging the latest technology where it gives a competitive advantage
* Proactively searching the market for new, innovative suppliers of services
* Working closely with the General Counsel, Head of Data Protection and Head of Information Security on all contracts to ensure strong regulatory compliance and protection of data
* To motivate and inspire a team (including recruitment, day to day management, coaching and development) of 3-4 team members to ensure the right mix of skills and experience within the function
* Provide analysis where appropriate, for operational leaders to support decisions relating to the potential impact of proposed changes

Requirements:

* A minimum 5 years' experience of leading complex negotiations
* Extensive exposure to complex technology / SAAS contracts and high-value Marketing contracts
* Highly experienced in contract management across a wide variety of industries and sectors
* A demonstrably strong understanding of contract law
* A professional qualification is highly desirable - CIPS
* A customer centric mindset and a firm understanding of Net Promoter Score (NPS)
* A naturally strategic thinker. Always thinking about the long-term implications of (sometimes short-term) contracts
