ARM are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to work on a long term contract basis with a leading client in the Renewables industry.

What you'll be doing

• Review of geotechnical data and derivation of soil design parameters for relevant (shallow and deep) foundation analysis and design/ installation analysis
• Development of pile foundation design which may include pile for steel jacket structures, monopile for wind turbine generators, suction caissons, mud-mat design, and gravity base structures
• Derivation of soil resistance to driving and pile driveability analysis, pile stick-up analysis, pile driving fatigue, pile self-weight penetration, pile-run, pile set-up, pile tip buckling
• Derivation of installation requirements for suction caissons
• Application of Finite Element Analysis in geotechnical design

What do you need to succeed?

• Experience with Foundation and Piling
• Experience working on Offshore projects (Wind or Oil and Gas)
• Extensive experience in Geotechnical Engineering

Details of the contract

• Rolling contract
• Paying £60- £65 per hour outside IR35
• Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
