Financial Accountant in London

Financial Accountant - London (hybrid) - 3-month contract - £419 p/d (Umbrella Inside IR35)
ARM are delighted to be hiring for a Financial Accountant to join one of our defence clients based in London, on a 3 month basis.

Delivering support, assisting in correctly following the approvals process and undertaking review of cases where the value, complexity, and potential implications.

Responsibilities
* Undertaking the financial scrutiny of Business Cases / Investment Appraisals in support of your line management and Finance Leadership Team.
* Undertaking approvals within your delegated financial authority.
* Supporting the Audit and Risk Committee by compiling the required information for input into the Annual Assurance Report.
* Delivering support and guidance for Grants, Grants in Aid and Fraud.
* Undertaking or managing the calculations in relation to both Grants and Grants in Aid.
* Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
* Supporting input to change programmes, where there is an impact on your team, as required.
* Management of team members, empowering, motivating, and coaching to enable effective delivery.

Requirements
* To be eligible for this role, you must hold an active Security Clearance.
* ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant.
* Strategic ability, keen intellect, and outstanding analytical skills.
* Ability to manage business process analysis and improvement including benefit estimation and post implementation metrics.
