Financial Accountant in Poole, Dorset

Financial Accountant - Poole (Hybrid) - Permanent - £52,000

ARM are delighted to be hiring for a Financial Accountant to join one of our clients based in Poole on a permanent basis.

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of external regulatory reporting including VAT, NROSH and Annual Financial Reports.

Requirements
* Prepare the statutory accounts
* Assist with the preparation of the groups consolidated accounts, for both management and statutory accounts.
* Assist with the modelling of new business opportunities.
* Responsible for coordination and delivery of regulatory financial reporting
* Responsible for assisting the preparation of all the group's entity and preparation of the consolidated VAT returns, including submission, payments, and handling queries, and be the key contact for VAT with HMRC and external consultants
* Any other external reporting task as required
* To coordinate the monthly journal review process across all finance divisions

Responsibilities
* Exceptionally strong technical accountant demonstrated with at least three years post qualified management accounts and/or financial accounts experience.
* Qualified member of a CCAB body (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is essential.
* Experience and sound knowledge of consolidation accounting is essential.
* Basic knowledge of VAT is essential
* Financial information systems experience with expert level excel skills is essential.
* Experience and knowledge of specialist financial systems is desirable.
* Ability to analyse, interpret and present financial information clearly and concisely.
* Ability to work flexibly and manage own workload to meet both team and business objectives.
