Finance Analyst in Poole, Dorset

Finance Analyst - Poole - Permanent - £45,000

ARM is currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join one of our clients in Poole on a permanent basis.

As a Finance Analyst, you will be a key member of the finance team providing a robust and innovative financial reporting and analysis service to Customer Services and other internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
* Assisting with the production and review of monthly management accounts.
* Responsibility for accurate preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Assisting with the preparation and presentation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance to discuss and review.
* Ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
* Responsibility for reconciling service charges
* Interrogation of financial systems to identify errors and make corrections.
* Assisting with projects and analysis relating to the integration of current finance systems with merged entity finance systems
* Identify potential system and process improvements/enhancements and challenge the status quo.
* Variance and ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant and member of a CCAB body (CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA)
* Extensive experience of financial analysis, management accounting, and budgeting including reporting and summary analysis for directors and senior stakeholders
* Knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and good accounting practice
* Financial information systems experience in addition to being a competent Microsoft Office user with IT literate advanced level Excel
* Demonstrable ability to build strong relationships and a proven track record of influencing decision-making in a business
* Ability to analyse, interpret and present financial information clearly and concisely
