The Job

The Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for fault diagnosis and repair (warranty or otherwise), inspection, service and maintenance, and modification and refurbishing duties for the entire product line.
The FSR is needed to travel inside the UK and abroad (including weekends) to offer proactive and professional assistance to customers.
Main Responsibilities

* You will have the responsibility for the timely delivery of worldwide vehicle repairs, upgrades & warranty.
* You will have the responsibility for the timely delivery of worldwide "BLASTech" product repairs, upgrades &.
* You will be minimising expenditure and enacting tasks in the most cost-effective manner.
* You will also liaise with customers and proactively build customer relationships.
* Keeping the applicable Customer Service Advisor and the Technical Service Manager informed of progress, problems, or challenges.
* You will oversee Logistical travel planning, including risk assessment and mitigation measures.
* You will be provisioning and movement of spares & all necessary tools & equipment (with the support of the wider JSS team) required for the task.

Required Knowledge

• Can demonstrate complex diagnostics and repair experience on both automotive / auto electronic / control / bespoke to role systems
• Has an excellent computer literacy and is experienced in the use and operation of automotive diagnostic equipment (notably TechStream, Xentry, IDS, Tech Tool)
• Has the ability to react tactfully to difficult circumstances whilst maintaining composure
• Is able to build and maintain strong relationships with both staff and customers in addition to an enthusiasm to contribute to all areas of the company when required.
• Has the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
• Will work in accordance with SO 9001 and Environmental, Health and Safety processes & procedures
• Appreciates that accurately concluding the administration aspects of a particular task is essential.
• Has CONDO or hostile environment experience (or is prepared to undertake Hostile Environment Awareness Training)
• Has the ability to identify spares parts from parts catalogues and electronic media. Where not clearly identified, the definition of a correct spare part shall need to be investigated.

Desired Experience

Experience in a relevant field service role

• Significant experience in diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical and body related faults, in particular the successful applicant must have a high level of electrical knowledge and experience, coupled with strong fault diagnostic capabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively and articulately at all levels within the business will be essential as well as being a team player
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tool.

You must be eligible for Security clearance due to the nature of the work
