Searching for an exciting opportunity to expand and develop your technical experience with an outstanding Defence company?
Our client who specialises in defence systems, are currently searching for Electronic Architect to help define the future strategies and road-maps for Electronic Products and solutions.
As an Electronic Architect, your main responsibilities will be:
- Define the electronic and electrical architecture of the equipment and the analysis and decomposition to the lower level requirements for the sub-elements.
- Meet challenging customer requirement's within the constraints of limited physical space and harsh operating environments.
- Managing all technical elements of Electronic Equipment's
- Working alongside the Engineering Project Manager to ensure pristine delivery of the technical solution.
- Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be regularly interacting with stakeholders and customers.
Essential Skills required:
- Digital electronics and microprocessor systems
- Power electronics for distributed power networks
- Design of equipment for safety critical environments
- Design of equipment for handling of sensitive customer data
- Understanding of software and firmware development techniques
- Compact packaging and thermal management techniques for complex high performance electronic equipment.
- Strong influencing skills and leadership skills
- The ability to make decisions and be adaptable in an ever-changing and challenging environment.
Desired Skills:
- Ideally educated to degree level (or an equivalent qualification)
- Strong influencing skills and leadership skills
- Beneficial to demonstrate knowledge of internal computing design covering System on Chip technologies, RF, Signal Processing and Software Defined Radio as well as EMC and Environmental design experience would also be advantageous.
Active Security Clearance required before starting.
