My Client who is a well-established M&E Contractor, based in Dorset is looking to recruit an Electrical Estimator to their existing team

The role will have values up to £2m

Responsibilities:

To receive client enquiries

Organize or complete the required surveys and prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably.

Tender document review and analysis including raising of RFI's with the client.

Take-off as required conforming to standard estimating conventions.

To support the business in client meetings and estimation/tender presentations to help secure tendered opportunities.

Vetting incoming tenders/offers from our supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within our submission. Preparing tenders for internal adjudications.

Attendance of tender adjudication meetings to present costing approach, project duration, and risks to the business.

Timely submission of tenders.

Attendance in handover of projects to the operations team.

Report on ongoing performance by gathering feedback from clients on submitted tenders/quotes,

Negotiating preferential rates with suppliers to ensure best prices are always achieved.

Experience in Mechanical services and estimating of M&E would be beneficial but not essential.

Package:

£40 - £60k salary
