Electrical Engineer – Chargehand in Wickford, Essex

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer - Chargehand to join our Expanding Engineering client, to be based out of Wickford, Essex.

What you will be doing:

As a Field Service 'working' Chargehand you will be required to perform maintenance at customer's sites, lead and manage mechanical teams during the day-to-day operations and outages.

Some of your duties will include:

• Produce workshop and field service reports, review, approve, and issue

• Rewire faulty electrical systems to a high standard

• Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction

What do you need to succeed?

• A full driving license

• Served a recognised Electrical Indentured Apprenticeship

• Reporting to line manager (s) and piers on a daily basis to set and prioritise work tasks effectively to achieve the best outcome.

• Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations, City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications, and inspection and testing certificate (2391)

• Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations.
