This is an outstanding opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that offers genuine career progression and the chance to play a leading role in the UK's renewable energy transition.

The Role
As Electrical Design/Engineering Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading the company's electrical design function. You will combine hands-on technical design expertise with leadership, overseeing a small but growing design team, managing third-party designers, and ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency across all projects.

  • Design and commission communication/monitoring systems, including remote support

  • Oversee Bills of Materials, costings, and Scopes of Work to align technical and commercial outcomes

The Person
To be successful, you will bring:

  • A strong background in electrical design/engineering, ideally within renewable energy, solar PV, or battery storage

  • Solid understanding of industry compliance and electrical design software

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team

  • A proactive, ambitious mindset - keen to grow with a rapidly scaling business

The Package

  • Salary circa £65,000 depending on experience

  • Company vehicle provided

  • Monday-Friday office hours (37.5 hours per week)

  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities

  • A collaborative, innovative team environment
