Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances (boilers, heaters, cookers, etc.) in domestic and commercial settings.
- Conduct safety inspections and certification of gas appliances in compliance with regulations.
- Fault finding and diagnostics for both gas and plumbing systems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Perform plumbing installations and repairs, including pipework, fixtures, and general water systems.
- Servicing and repairs of central heating systems, radiators, pumps, and associated controls.
- Emergency response to breakdowns or urgent repairs in both commercial and residential properties.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining issues and providing clear recommendations.
- Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and adheres to industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken, including maintenance logs and certificates.
- Collaborate with team members and mentor junior engineers, if applicable.

Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of current gas safety regulations and best practices.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to travel to various sites when required.

Desirable:
- Experience with renewable energy systems (e.g., air source heat pumps, solar thermal).
- Knowledge of building services and HVAC systems.
- Certification in unvented hot water systems (G3).
- Familiarity with commercial building codes and standards.
