Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk
Hours: 40 Hours per week
The Energy Division of Advanced Resource Manager is seeking to hire a Document Controller to join Our Distributed Energy client, The client funds and develops low-carbon heat and power solution. The position is situated in Stowmarket.
Some of your duties will include:
- The individual will oversee the management of all documentation within the department such as technical documents, audits, policies, standard operating procedures, and certification, as well as drawings, training records, and service records. This includes responsibility for hosting them on our shared server and Protean Service software.
- Collaborate with the Site Managers and Management team within the company to guarantee the precision, currency, and availability of drawings and documentation at the appropriate site.
- The responsibility includes handling documentation requests and organizing documents in both physical and digital records as needed. Additionally, the records should be regularly reviewed and edited for accuracy to ensure up-to-date information.
- To ensure compliance, the Site Managers and Departmental Manager must oversee the control and monitoring of service documentation, including the steam plant's written scheme, scheduled maintenance requirements, RHI requirements, PAT, fire, and electrical testing.
- Ensure any alterations to the plant result in updated PIDs and drawings being amended and stored in the correct location, with trackable version control.
- Identify and control documents effectively as part of the company's HSEQ policy.
- programs, materials, and sub-contractor ordering.
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience in engineering and project document control.
- Experience in an industrial /process working environment.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Project, and Excel packages.
- Experience of working to ISO 9001 standard.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, schematics, and tagging/labelling.
