Desktop Technician in Gosport, Hampshire

ARM is currently looking for a Desktop Technician (IT - Support Services) to join a client of ours based at Gosport Town Hall.

This is a contract role, we are looking for someone to ideally start 12/10/2026 and the contract will end 19/02/2027.

This is a Monday - Friday position covering 37 hours a week onsite.

We are looking for an individual with ICT experience and some network knowledge who can hit the ground running to join our small team. We will support you to complete a higher level network apprenticeship,

• Knowledge of technical procedures covering networks with a formal qualification in IT (NVQ L3)
• Demonstrable experience of an understanding of ICT and have some basic network experience
• Have some knowledge of a range of cabling and connectivity issues
• An awareness of:

o Virtual private networks
o Firewalls
o Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 2016,2019 and above)
o Network Printing
o Backup and Recovery concepts
o Virtual Networks
o PowerShell scripting
