Deputy Head of Procurement - Guildford - Permanent - £58,000-£65,000

ARM are actively seeking a Deputy Head of Procurement to join our client, based in their modern offices in Guildford. This position offers hybrid working as well as free on-site parking and excellent transport links.

The Deputy Head of Procurement will be joining a highly successful Procurement & Supply Chain Department. The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain with procurement strategy, procurement programmes, innovation and transformational service re-design.

Responsibilities:

* Help establish the annual pipeline of procurement projects, enable the development of networks and support across the different teams.
* Lead and manage complex and high value contracts and supply accounts.
* Identifying strategic, tactical and transactional procurement plans.
* Manage and support the buying function and in the delivery of an efficient end to end procurement services.
* Lead and report to the Head of Procurement on all sourcing activity. Leading and coaching the team through all procurement routes to market, contract and supplier management, and daily functional management of non-pay spend.
* Innovation - delivering important national agendas such as sustainability, social value within the procurement process

Requirements:

* Excellent stakeholder service experience.
* Highly motivated with the ability to influence others.
* Results and output orientated
* Strong Leader, team player with excellent coaching skills
* Assertive, self-confident & self-motivated with intellect to deal at senior level within and outside the business.
* Ideally holds CIPS qualification.

Additional Information:

* 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
