Deployment Engineer in Leicester, Leicestershire

Deployment Engineer (Apple and Windows)

£117 per day (Inside IR35)
5 days per week on site in Leicester

The purpose of this role is to locate and replace a number of EOL devices (consisiting of Apple, Windows and Thin Clients). The individual will be responsible for locating and replacing end user devices across the estate and replacing them whilst providing users with support in accessing systems crucial to their roles.

The role will occasionally involve: stock management, device imaging and disposals.

Please note - this role will be 5 days a week onsite - You will be required to work across the three main Leicester sites so a driving license would be preferable.

General responsibilities
Responsible for setting up and assisting staff with their laptop, desktop and iOS swaps.
The Engineer would also be responsible for installing/recovering systems and setting up an audit trail, asset tagging.
Locating devices where necessary
Asset lifecycle management - ensuring the CMDB is kept up to date.

Skills and Experience
Previous experience of working within a Field Deployment Engineer role
Extensive Intune experience - managing devices/End User devices
Windows 10/11 - Administration & Support - ideally Win11 Exposure
Strong EUC (End User Compute) background
Active Directory experience
Excellent Diagnostic and resolution skills
