ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner to join the supply chain team and become pivotal link between the supply and commercial functions.

The Role:

• Track forecast vs actual volumes to determine reasons for inaccuracies and ensure use of best-fit statistical models.
• Maintaining inventory master data, including safety stock levels, to align with agreed inventory strategies and service levels.
• Propose methods of improving forecasting/planning and other key processes.
• Work with Sales and Editorial to understand market requirements and turn those into practical manufacturing and inventory strategies.
• Recommend and manage overstock destruct.
• Manage inter-warehouse replenishments

Requirements:

• Knowledge of clients products, data and systems and their use in demand planning
• Good data management/manipulation skills - competent with Excel
• Good analytical skills
• Accurate and detail focused
• Ability to explain complex concepts/problems in simple terms.
• Problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement
• Judgement and decision making
