As the Component Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, active UK SC clearance is required.

You will be involved in:

• Processing reactive component obsolescence notifications
• Prioritise and monitor obsolescence requests
• Processing component data (based on Life cycle status, Export Control, and REACH/RoHS compliance)
• Commodity support for Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Material components
• Develop continuous improvement activities and utilise industry-standard methods

Your Skillset may include:

• Knowledge and experience of components and parts
• Engineering Degree or relevant experience
• Proficient in MS Office tools, Outlook, Excel, Word
• Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks, and priorities concurrently
• Strong communication skills to facilitate communications with key stakeholders
