Commercial Officer - Helensburgh - Permanent - £Competitive

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively seeking a Commercial Officer to join them on a permanent basis.

The Commercial Officer will perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services.

What you'll be doing day- -day:
* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the different types of commercial/contract models
* Ensures Terms and Conditions compliance and define all risks
* Independently identify, define and implement contract revisions and improvements
* Liaison with internally, with customers and suppliers in support of above and provide guidance
* Organise and maintain contract files
* Ensure timeliness of all contract actions and contract close out.
* Keep internal and external stakeholders appraised of current issues
* Responsible for ensuring flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers.

Your skills:
* Experience as a Commercial Officer or similar Contracts Management role
* Contracts Management for Major Projects / Programmes / Complex Contracts
* Knowledge of the different types of commercial / contract models
* Keen attention to detail
* Strong analytical, report writing and organisational skills
* Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at varying seniority levels
* SC clearance or ability to achieve is required for this role
