Commercial Manager - Wiltshire - Permanent - £Competitive

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively seeking a Commercial Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Commercial Manager you will be responsible for handling contracts management functions associated with providing supplies and services. You will be responsible from capture through to proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.

Responsibilities

* Provide business advice and guidance.
* Coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal and accounting.
* Responsibilities will include contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfilment of related obligations.
* Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations.
* Lead and support audits.
* Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
* May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company.
* Commercial management and leadership of critical major subcontractors/team mates.

Requirements

* Must be confident in reviewing sets of terms and conditions and negotiating with suppliers/ customers.
* Identifying risks in RFP of supplier proposals/ identifying mitigation strategies.
* Good presentation skills
* CIPS qualification good - but not essential.
* Confident presenting to various levels of the organisation.
* SC clearance required to start.
