Commercial Gas Engineer in Hackney, London

Boiler Servicing and PPM, TRVs, Heat Plate Exchanges, PCBs, Thermostats
The majority of the works will be in the Hackney area.
Commercial Gas Installation:
- Pipe sizing and design (based on flow rates and demand)
- Installation of commercial boilers, heaters, and radiant tubes
- Fitting and testing of commercial gas pipework (steel, copper, MDPE)
- Understanding of ventilation and flueing requirements
Gas Purging:
- Pre-commissioning purge (air to gas)
- Decommissioning purge (gas to air/inert gas)
- Use of purge stacks, test equipment, and gas detection
- Knowledge of IGEM/UP/1, IGEM/UP/1A standards
Testing & Commissioning:
- Tightness testing (strength and soundness testing of pipework)
- Use of manometers, pressure gauges, and electronic testing kits
- Burner and appliance commissioning
- Flue gas analysis and combustion checks
