CNC Turner in Clacton-On-Sea, Essex

Our client is looking for 2 CNC Turners (1 for days and 1 for nights) to join their team in the Clacton-on-Sea area.

Ideally the right candidate would have an extensive experience in CNC Turning. In this role you will be required to set, operate and run Mazak CNC lathes as efficiently as possible with a good ability to read technical drawings. You will need good time keeping skills, ability to work well with deadlines and be a good team player with a fine attention to detail.

Requirements of the role:

* Set and run Mazak CNC lathes as efficiently as possible.
* Set and run CNC Lathes following the company's quality and work procedures.
* Complete company paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Update tooling sheets and record cycle times.
* Work to Company instructions and drawings.
* Awareness of Health and Safety procedures.
* Assist other setter operators to become more efficient.
* Be able to inspect own work.

Engineering apprenticeship, NVQ in Engineering or City & Guilds qualification, previous Mazatrol and live tooling experience would be advantageous.

Hours of work:
* Days: Monday - Wednesday 7:30 to 18:00, Thursday 7:30 to 17:00 (basic 39 hours per week).
* Nights: Monday - Wednesday 21:00 to 7:30, Thursday 21:00 to 6:30 (basic 39 hours per week).

Our client is willing to pay £14 - £18 p/h for day shift and £18 - £24 p/h for nights, depending on experience.
