CNC Programmer in Fareham, Hampshire

Our client is looking for a CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator with Milling and Turning experience in the Fareham area on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be required to program, set and operate a range of CNC Machines (Fanuc or Mitsubishi) with a good ability to read technical drawings.

The ideal candidate should have:
* Previous milling and turning experience, ability to program, set and run high precision components and inspect own work with a good attention to detail.
* Working as a team to get jobs done ensuring production is carried out correctly for product conformity while achieving customer requirements.
* Knowledge of editing Fanuc CNC programs, setting and operating the machines.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Program, set and operate Milling and Turning CNC Machines.
* Inspection of tooling and machine for defects, observe production to detect defects on or machine malfunctions helping adjust the machines when needed while recording machine breakdown.
* Adhere to risk assessments, safe systems of work, standard operating procedures and environmental practices while maintaining Health & Safety norms and instructions.
* Ensure yourself and all team members are wearing appropriate PPE.
* Ensuring checks and paperwork are completed and databases are kept up to date.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 37.5 Hours per week with overtime usually available. Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:00.
Salary is between £18.00 - £21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
