Cloud Security Engineer in London

Our client are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their expanding team.

My client are looking to make two hires, one with expertise in Azure and the other AWS. The successful candidate will only need to be an SME in one of these.

This position is remote with one day per week in Central London.

Candidates for this role should have subject matter expertise implementing security controls and threat protection, managing identity and access, and protecting data, applications, and networks in cloud and hybrid environments as part of an end-to-end infrastructure. You'll design, build, maintain, and enhance authentication and security services in Azure and AWS.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities for this role include maintaining the security posture, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities by using a variety of security tools
• Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 with emphasis in security, architectural design, migration, management, and support of implementations.
• Provide overall Microsoft 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure & AWS Active Directory, Microsoft cloud app security, Azure & AWS Information Protection, Data loss prevention, Information Rights Management, Intune, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies
• Monitoring and remediation of risks events from Azure & AWS, and Microsoft 365 security and compliance dashboards.
• Support ongoing Microsoft 365 security projects and strategy discussions.
• Engineering Engagement / Support BAU activities and tickets and support timely delivery of quality root cause analysis (RCA) to understand and prevent future occurrence of reported issues.
• Excellent Communication: Must have the ability to work with customers and convey confidence. Able to explain highly technical issues to varied audiences. Take ownership and work towards a resolution.
