Carbon Analyst in Oxfordshire

CARBON ANALYST - OXFORDSHIRE - PERMANENT - £41,496 - £44,539 PER ANNUM

A local authority is currently looking for a Carbon Analyst, for a permanent role based in Oxfordshire.

About You:
* You will have a demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development in the area of carbon assessment.
* You will have applied knowledge of emission reporting standards and techniques evidenced through experience or qualification.
* You will have skills in data management, analysis, dissemination and engaging interpretation of complicated data.
* You will have experience of monitoring and evaluating the impact of climate policies and initiatives.
* You will have a strong track record of defining and developing the use of carbon data to drive climate programmes.

What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the climate action team and wider organisation on carbon reporting, data management, advising on and developing methodologies and processes for carbon assessment and reporting that support decision making, programme planning and tracking of the performance on net zero.

The role is based in Oxfordshire. This will be working 5 days a week during normal office hours.

The salary for this position is between £41,496 - £44,539.
