Captain (Ferry) – Contract in London

ARM is recruiting on behalf of our client who are seeking a Captain to join their team based in Woolwich, London. Our client owns and operates two Ferries which offer an integral service to those travelling and commuting in London.

You will be fully responsible of the safe navigation and operation of the Ferry, ensuring safe crew and passenger welfare at all times. You must have excellent knowledge of the Safety Management Systems, in particular WF SMS. .

Other key details regarding this position include:

- Working a 1 week on/off rotation (night shifts).
- Competitive hourly rate offered.

To be considered for the position, you must have the following:

- BML Tier 1 Level 2 with local knowledge endorsement.
- Updated STCW training (PST, EFA, FF, PSSR).
- ENG1.
- Reside within commutable distance to East London.
- Small vessel handling experience.

Experience working in the capacity of a Captain on similar vessels on the Thames.
