CAD Technician in Leicester, Leicestershire

CAD TECHNICIAN - EAST MIDLANDS - 4 MONTH CONTRACT - £250 PER DAY

ARM are working with a local authority and we are currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join them on an initial 3 month contract based in the East Midlands.

About You:
* You will be an experience CAD technician with AutoCAD 2D experience that must be from a building and construction background.
* You will also have experience of GIS software, as this position will link between the two.
* Your experience will include measurement and drawing within a 2D CAD programme.
* You will also have experience of liaising with stakeholders to ensure information provided works and final output matches expectations.
* Ideally you will have knowledge or awareness of building management systems, fire / ventilation and other building regulations.

What you will be doing:
This position will see you responsible for the development and production of plans, reports and data relating to the councils asset management plan.

This is a hybrid position and is based in Leicester, Leicestershire.

What you can expect in return:
The rate range for this position is between £250 and £275 per day (Umbrella) inside IR35, The contract is initially running until the end of January but may extend beyond this initial engagement period and there is a possibility this may go temp to perm, should you wish.
