Buyer in Farnham, Surrey

Buyer - Permanent - Farnham - £30,000 - £40,000

ARM is actively seeking a Buyer to join our fantastic client based in Farnham on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
* Identifying the organisation's purchasing needs
* Arranging transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
* Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products and materials
* Understanding the target market and analysing trends in order to make informed buying decisions
* Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales
* Monitoring the stock quality and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers and management
* Updating inventory and managing stock levels
* Owning the COGS plan vs budget

Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role
* CIPS qualification (desirable)
* Previous experience in Purchasing within FMCG
* Experience in using ERP/MRP systems.
