Business Analyst - Smart Metering

Glasgow - Hybrid 3 days onsite

6-month contract - up to £400 a day Inside IR35

As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Business Analyst, with good knowledge & experience with Smart metering (either from a DNO or retail perspective), with advanced level Microsoft suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), multi-tasking, and communications skills, to join our team in Glasgow.

What you'll be doing:

• Functional requirements gathering and process definition/refinement activities
• Reporting
• Aspects of Systems and Infrastructure support/monitoring
• Aspects of Supplier engagement & management
• Aspects of release management

What you'll need:

Requirements

• Hybrid role requiring an average of 2-3 days onsite per week
• Smart metering subject matter expertise is essential (experience in the following areas would be of benefit: DCC, DNOs, DUIS, SMKI, DCCKI and SEC)
• Renewables experience
• Experience in Stakeholders management
• IT background / Utilities Sector experience preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
• SQL skills
• Data analysis

Where you'll be:

This role will involve a mixture of working from our client's premises (Glasgow), working from home or at our Central Glasgow offices. This is a client driven role, so the expectation will be for you to be onsite on average 3 days per week or when requested.
