Job Summary
The Business Analyst supports HR and technology initiatives by gathering business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The role works closely with local SMEs, HRIS, and project teams to streamline processes, support testing and go‑lives, and ensure timely completion of project tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into clear, consistent functional specifications and process documentation.
- Support the identification of gaps between business needs and proposed technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and keep workstreams progressing.
- Assist local SMEs in aligning regional processes with standardized/global processes.
- Track, manage, and escalate risks and issues as needed.
- Contribute to cutover planning and support data-related activities during go-live.
- Provide input to project planning, task dependencies, and progress reporting.
- Support testing cycles, training preparation, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Ensure timely stakeholder review and acceptance of project deliverables.
- Assist in evaluating and prioritizing change requests.
Accountabilities
- Act as the day‑to‑day liaison between business SMEs and technical teams to ensure clarity and progress.
- Serve as a primary contact point for business stakeholders across releases.
- Support organizational change management activities in collaboration with project leads.
- Participate in all phases of the project: requirements, analysis, design, development support, testing, training, and post‑production support.
- Complete functional documentation within the areas of responsibility.
- Provide input to training plans and support SMEs during country go‑
- Provide recommendations to project managers and business owners to support decision‑
- Participate in project health reviews to help ensure alignment with project goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Analyst supporting HR, technology, or process‑driven projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to develop clear process and requirements documentation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project/task management tools.
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with HR or payroll systems (e.g., ADP, GlobalView, Safeguard).
- Exposure to global payroll or cross‑country HR processes.
- Experience supporting change management activities.
- Background in cutover planning or data conversion support.
- Previous involvement in global or multi‑country transformation programs.
