Role Overview:
As a Bunker Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in sourcing clientele for the team of Bunker Traders. Leveraging your experience in maritime sales or bunker procurement, you will identify and establish relationships with potential clients to expand the customer base. Your responsibilities will include market research, lead generation, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to support the sales team in achieving targets. Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and research potential clients in the maritime industry to expand the company's customer base.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor procurement strategies accordingly.
4. Generate leads and opportunities through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms.
5. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
6. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Bunker Traders and Operations teams, to ensure seamless execution of procurement strategies.
7. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
8. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure business and achieve revenue targets.
9. Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to management.
Requirements:
1. 1-2 years of experience in maritime sales or bunker procurement, with a proven track record of success.
2. Proficiency in English, is essential to effectively engage with target markets.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
4. Excellent negotiation skills and a keen understanding of market dynamics.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
6. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, maritime studies, or a related field is preferred.
