Azure Stack HCI Hyper V Architect in City of London, London

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Stack HCI architect who has proven high and low level design skills. The successful candidate will have completed one or more projects with enterprise customers in a multi-data centre environment, including Azure Arc integration with Azure public cloud. Financial services sector experience would be preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
* Highly experienced in designing and provisioning Azure Stack HCI infrastructure.
* Experienced in migrating services from VMware into Azure Stack HCI
* Can provide technical leadership on Azure HCI Stack, platform migrations and DR testing.
* Experience with hyper-converged solutions, concepts and platforms

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
* Has run large customer transformation projects, with emphasis on delivering complex cloud native projects.
* Knowledge of VMware solution design and migration
* Financial Sector experience and knowledge of FinOps
* Cloud solutions design, implementation and migration
* Strong knowledge and experience of IaaS & PaaS solutions, demonstrating both breadth and depth in a range of technologies and solutions, including compute, network, storage, and virtualisation.
* Knowledge and understanding of the key technologies used in Agile Delivery - CI/CD Pipelines, GitHub, Infrastructure as Code etc.
* In depth knowledge and experience of Azure services and solutions
* Strong communication and customer facing skills. This is a leadership role and candidates must be experienced in dealing with senior customer counterparts and other key stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and Problem Solving skills.

Professional Certifications:
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Stack Hub Operator Associate
