Automotive Packaging Engineer in Cheshire

Outside IR35 contract.
Hybrid working - 1 day on-site p/week.
This role requires a Design Engineer with experience in Catia V5 to work on an electrification project.
Previous Packaging experience is essential
Engineers will work collaboratively to ensure that the whole vehicle is being supported - specific areas can be negotiated.
Responsibilities
- The Engineer will be responsible for leading weekly package reviews.
- Ensuring any issues within the R&D function are anticipated and dealt with in a timely manner.
- Liaising with different teams to establish new package and system solutions within a set budget.
- KPI tracking and reporting
- Represent and present to the wider business in key vehicle reviews - being the key point of contact for all Package related matters.
