Client Audit Manager
Based in Portsmouth
Hybrid working 2/3 days a week on site
Salary £55k/£60k

The Client Audit Manager is responsible for managing and executing audits for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves planning, coordinating, and conducting audits, preparing audit reports, and providing recommendations for improving internal controls and processes. The Client Audit Manager works closely with clients, internal audit teams, and other stakeholders to ensure audit objectives are met and to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Audit Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans for clients, including defining audit objectives, scope, and methodology.
Coordinate and conduct client audits, including risk assessments, process reviews, and compliance checks.
Ensure audits are executed in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the audit process.
Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and best practices to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit processes, working papers, and evidence.
Present audit results to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or similar.
Experience with auditing in specific industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, technology).
Familiarity with international auditing standards and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)) are preferred.
