Salary: £34,000 - £38,000

ARM are currently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join one of our clients in Dorset.

The Assistant Financial Accountant is a valuable member of the team who is responsible for the coordination and delivery of external regulatory reporting and to support the group finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts
• Assist in the preparation of all the group's entity VAT returns
• Support finance reporting
• Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordinate the monthly journal review process

Requirements:

• Educated to GCSE or A-level standard
• Degree education or AAT level three or above would be an advantage.
• Part-qualified member of or studying towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is desirable.
• The role is suitable for a part qualified accountant, or in the absence of professional qualifications three years of relevant experience
• Experience working as part of a financial reporting team
