Assistant Design Engineer in Manchester, Greater Manchester

ASSISTANT DESIGN ENGINEER - GREATER MANCHESTER - 8 MONTHS CONTRACT - £275 PER DAY

ARM are currently recruiting for a well-known rail client, who operates and develops Britain's railway infrastructure. They are currently seeking for an Assistant Design Engineer within the railway industry.

About You:
* You will be required to hold an engineering degree or equivalent industry -recognised training qualification, or equivalent experience
* You will need experience and knowledge in design, installation and maintenance
* You will need he ability to learn discipline specific industry software.
* You will need a qualification in risk identification and assessment.

What you will be doing:
* You will be Analysing development remits and take part as required in value management and risk identification/ analysis activities.
* You will Prepare or monitor preparation of reports, papers etc as necessary.
* You will Formulate the full engineering data package required for commencement of the detailed design, and participate in answering clarifications/queries as needed.
* You will identify where additional data gathering is required to develop a design scheme.

This position is offices based in Manchester- this a hybrid role with 2 days in office and the rest working from home.

This role is a 8-month contract, which may extend.

The rate for this position is £275 Per Day (Umbrella) Inside IR35.

We can only consider applications from eligible to work in the UK for these roles. The successful candidates will be required to undertake DBS and reference checking, prior to starting the role
