Assembly Fitter in Havant, Hampshire

We are looking for an Assembly Fitter for our client based in the Havant area.

The ideal candidate would have the ability to read drawings, ability to follow assembly instructions, previous work experience in a similar industry with a great team spirit. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manual dexterity.
Ability to use hand and air tools alongside with the ability to lift heavy or awkward objects safely. Previous experience with flypress or guillotine, understand parts list/BOM, would be advantageous.

Duties will include:
Reviewing assembly instructions and specifications, confirming parts list, tools and materials.
Positioning parts and components using required drawings or reading measurements from work instructions.
Assemble parts or components in accordance with technical specifications and work instructions.
Verify assembly quality of finished products.
Keeping all tooling and equipment fully operational while carrying out maintenance or regular checks.
Follow Health and Safety requirements and have a good housekeeping standard.

The hours are 8:00AM till 4:30PM Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:00AM till 1:00PM.
The salary is £22,050 per annum. Our client is offering 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
