Learning and development

Our award-winning, state-of-the-art training programme is perfectly equipped to fully support you from day one and throughout your career progression at ARM, as well as help you qualify for the REC Institute of Recruitment Professionals. Every new starter is provided with an HR and business training. During those you will familiarise yourself with who we are, what we do, our history, dos and don'ts, who is who in the company.

In addition to that, the new starters also get a commercial overview of the company. Our recruiters also get training on the systems we use and legal and compliance training.

In the first month, all our recruiters go through a candidate and client sales induction that covers the whole candidate journey. We also have a mentoring scheme for the team members who would like some extra support to excel in their new role.

Our on-boarding process

  1. Phone screening/call with one of the internal recruitment team
  2. If successful, you will be asked in for a face to face competency-based interview with the relevant hiring manager/s.
  3. Again, if successful you will be asked to carry out an online profiling test. This will be explained in more depth by one of the internal team. This takes up to 24 hours to get the results over.
  4. Once the online test results have come back; you will be invited in for a second stage with the relevant hiring manager/s to go through the test results and any questions on this. This is a perfect opportunity to go into depth about the role, the company and any other questions you may have.
  5. Finally, if successful an offer will be put to you by the internal team!
