PermanentData Management Architect
We're looking for someone to join a growing Data Team as a Data Management Architect. This is a brilliant standalone role to join a reputable Data & Insights team. You'll join a truly data-driven business with fantastic data tech. To take this to the next level, you'll help us define and manage data better. We'll bring in tooling and automation to support this but need you to lead the way in this space.
You'll report to the Director of BI & Data Analytics and join a high-performing data team. You'll design and implement a Data Management strategy across our data estate and support our goal to use data as a strategic asset. You will build relationships across the data & analytics team as well as with key business data owners. Additionally, you'll create and chair a data Steering Committee and implement data management monitoring, reporting, and KPIs. You'll work as part of a team of Data Analysts/ Architects/ Scientists ensuring a professional and solutions-driven team approach that contributes to the wider BI strategy of delivering clarity consistency, quality, and control. Our data is held on AWS data lake, and we are in the process of implementing a Data Hub.

We're looking for someone who has,
* A proven track record of designing & implementing a Data Management/Governance solution in a modern cloud environment.
* Broad knowledge and deep practical experience in data management disciplines.
* Proven experience of working effectively with stakeholders in specialist and technical roles, including Data Engineering.
* Proven experience of working collaboratively across boundaries to secure buy-in and create solutions that work for all stakeholders.
